National Register of Historic Places -- The Terminal Building
The National Register is the official federal list of districts, sites, buildings, structures, and objects significant in American history, architecture, archeology, engineering, and culture. National Register properties have significance to the history of their community state, or the nation. It is administered by the National Park Service.
The Fairhaven Historic District is a district on the National Register.
The Terminal Building was one of two buildings in the district that had a separate historic designation on the National Register of Historic Places.
Today, the only Fairhaven historic building on the National Register is the Fairhaven Library.
